Problems to create working setup for appl made by Delphi 2007

Hi,We have a problems to create working setup.exe file for our application made with Delphi 2007. The setup.exe is working only in PCs where Delphi is installed. In other PCs the application seems to installed without problems but starting it fails with notifications "The exception unknown software exception (ex0eedfade) occurred un the application at location 0x7c812a5b".The application is originally made with Delphi 5 and then converted for Delphi 2007. With Delphi 5 version we used "Install Shield express for Delphi 5" tool to generate the setup-file.Now with Delphi 2007 version the same tool is not working anymore and we have tried several freeware tools (e.g. "Install aware 6") without success. It seems that the problem is somehow related to Borland DB-engine.BrMarko Huppunen

You should follow-up on the C++Builder discussion forums, but this may be caused by binary DFMs rather than text DFMs.

Some of the *.dfm forms cannot be seen in C++ Builder 2007

hey all,i am new to codegear c++ builder 2007. The project that I am working on was developed in C++ Builder 5 and before I joined, these guys shifted the project to C++ Builder 2007. The problem that I am facing is that, some of the forms (*.dfm) are not visible or cannot be opened in C++ Builder 2007, though they can be opened in C++ Builder 5. I am not sure that why is this happening because the other forms can be opened and a couple of forms cannot. If there is any fix or patch needed than please let me know or if you guys know about any setting issue, please let me know that too.Thank You,Anand Sharma

Editor question (key maps? vim?)

I'm new to the CodeGear product but have a lot of development experience. My primary issue is with the editor -- does anyone know of a vi(m) editor plugin for this? Or, less desirable option, a way to map the keys they way I want them? I believe that JBuilder was the basis for both Netbeans and CodeGear -- there is a vim plugin for netbeans, is there anyway to use it for CodeGear? Any help appreciated.-kt.

Thanks. After several more trials, I did get logged on correctly without SSL. The instructions seemed to suggest that I should use SSL, so I had mostly tried that way.
