It's pretty easy, from the way I understand it. I've posted a comment on the quality report:"Actually, this one is pretty simple.Inside the "Messages" window, the counted "hints" are marked as [DCC Warning] along with the counted "warning".Instead they should be called [DCC Hint] I guess."

Important RAD Studio Update Information

This article is misleading. It states RAD Studio Update Information, but the update is for Delphi 2007 for win32 and C++ Builder. I tried it on my RAD Studio installation, and I only get invalid serial number.

Roland --Hey, thanks for the info. We've added a link to the bug fixes in this Update. We've made changes in the About Box so it is totally clear what update you have on your machine.About QC#44678 -- we can't reproduce this one -- can you provide a sample application that shows this happening? The test application attached to the product doesn't do what the report says it is supposed to do.Thanks --Nick HodgesDelphi Product ManagerCodeGear

Complaints about Codegears upgrade policy

I have some complaints about the upgrade policy in general from Codegear. Some information is still missing!1. Changelogs. What bugfixes have been done and is there any new features?2. The about dialog in IDE said a build number. That's good but it should also tell what Servicepack and release it is. It is rather confusing now to find what servicepack/relese is really version xxx.xxx.3. Inform clearly if the upgrade is binary compatible with previous. The latest release 3 was not. So I have spent some time to find out why it don't work and then recompile my components. But it works fine now again.4. After 3 servicepacks the bug in compiler output is still don't fixed. See http://qc.codegear.com/wc/qcmain.aspx?d=44678 for more information.Regards Roland
