I really do not understand why Borland does not keep ECO only for BDS!On the first page of the CodeGear site, it says:"Where developers matter. Really."Oh, if so, how come you will loose a big chunk of them AGAIN?The same thing happened when M$ drawed out C#.

I have only recently gotten a machine powerful enough to use Eco. Now that I have looked at it, I think it could have been THE THING that set Delphi apart from other IDEs, such as Visual Studio. And it was potentially a huge improvement over traditional data coding in Delphi.I have a 100,000+ line project whose code would have been reduced by 75% if it had been coded in Eco. That is productivity...But with Eco not being a "just for Delphi" product, I fear that people who use Delphi BECAUSE of Eco will leave the Delphi fold. With the current Borland/CodeGear uncertainties, I hate to lose any Delphi programmers...
