<content>I really do not understand why Borland does not keep ECO only for BDS!On the first page of the CodeGear site, it says:&quot;Where developers matter. Really.&quot;Oh, if so, how come you will loose a big chunk of them AGAIN?The same thing happened when M$ drawed out C#.</content>

<content>I have only recently gotten a machine powerful enough to use Eco.  Now that I have looked at it, I think it could have been THE THING that set Delphi apart from other IDEs, such as Visual Studio.  And it was potentially a huge improvement over traditional data coding in Delphi.I have a 100,000+ line project whose code would have been reduced by 75% if it had been coded in Eco.  That is productivity...But with Eco not being a &quot;just for Delphi&quot; product, I fear that people who use Delphi BECAUSE of Eco will leave the Delphi fold.  With the current Borland/CodeGear uncertainties, I hate to lose any Delphi programmers...</content>
