re: New BDE Merge Module?

I am using the new BDE Merge Module in a simple install package built with Macrovision's InstallShield 2008. All it's supposed to do is install BDE (if it's not already) and add an alias to an SQL Server. I get this message during the install:---------------------------Merge Error---------------------------Unable to merge new configuration.Use BDE Administrator to merge your new configuration.---------------------------OK ---------------------------It used to work in Windows XP. I don't want my users to have to merge configuration files. My username is an Administrator-level one. I don't know what's wrong!

Delphi 2007 Update 1

Trying to use either the download method or the zipped files to install the update 1, German laguage, it results with an error. One file cannot be extracted and the installation is aborted. Unfortunately the original installation of Delphi 2007 is just de-installed, thus one has to re-install the original software and to register again.

New BDE Merge Module?

Hi, I'm trying to get the BDE Merge Module that came with Delphi 6 Enterprise to work with InstallShield 12 and Windows Vista. When running an installation made with InstallShield, that uses the BDE Merge Module to install BDE, Windows Vista will display the error "Unable to merge new configuration". This happens even tough I'm not trying to create any new aliases.Do this new download contain changes towards this issue, or is it the same merge module that came with Delphi 6?
