When you get around to working on the content management system, consider a better document revision system. The current system of 'we changed something, and since we changed the original to prevent a side by side comparison and didn't mark the revisions, you get to guess what, if anything, we actually changed!' just doesn't work for me.However, rather than reinventing the wheel, which seems decidedly pointless to me, you might want to at least investigate one of the quality content managers out there and just using borland technology to custom tailor it.DotNetNuke jumps IMMEDIATELY to mind. While it is written in VB.NET, it is HIGHLY modular and those modules can be written in any dotNet language (I have had great success writing seamless C# modules)Something to think about anyways.Oh, incidently, about matching the look of borland.com... You might want to look to all your corporate faces. Borland.ca is looking decidedly old-world. I can, perhaps, understand why your Korean site is a bit behind, but not the other english language sites which are practically 98% clones of borland.com.

We will get the threaded conversation system moved over to the new look as soon as we can.And we definitely have plans to use our own technology for the content management system. First we needed to update the look to match borland.com.Next we will work on some clean up and the replacement of the content system.thanks!David I

Just tried again and on the article itself the page still doesn't word wrap at the edge of the window. Apart from the actual articles, the word wrap works as it should afaik. Seems to over run by about 10 characters.Done a little more "research". If the windows is displayed full screen then the word wrap is correct. If the window is displayed less than 1024 then it isn't.

A new look for BDN - You missed a spot.

I was going to say how professional it all looked, and then I got here and got the old, ugly, slapdash site.Yup, the comments section does not appear to benefit from the site face life. Ah well. Yes, the attempt at a new site does look pretty, even professional - the old site looks like it was designed by the programmers. Of course, because of the inferior way that websnap works, this is hardly a surprise. It is nearly impossible for anyone BUT the developer to maintain websnap, and near impossible for the developer too. I'm hoping that Borland will see the error of its ways and move on to a real content management system written in ASP.NET. Since Delphi now does ASP.NET, this seems to be a reasonable expectation (and hey, who could blame borland for cutting websnap loose, the rest of us already have!)Anyways, the other comment is that whoever did the main page doesn't seem to understand font sizes... Just try typing text into the search box on the main screen. Oh look, the text is clipped vertically. Not too professional there, esp. since it does that when you use the default font sizes (hey, if I was using a custom font size, I could understand it. but I'm not using windows large fonts and my browser is set to the default medium...)I look forward to borland clearing up the last little bits of flash and sparkle, then they can get back to substance.
