Finally D2005 seems to work fine now ... there shouldn't be 3 SPs necessary to reach this point !After having applied SP3 my D2005 Arch. (German) finally doesn't crash every here and then, and speed was greatly improved with SP3 (note: I do not use the floating VCL form editor).Levend. Borland marked all previous errors as CLOSED without solving it. And now releases a patch requiring previous one.
