Besides the rather odd component palette (how much did I love the old times where they were so easy to see and click) it looks great.I always thought one day we'd see the natural merge of Delphi and C++ Builder in one tool so I look forward with good hope on the results of this merge.

C++ Builder in Delphi

Might as well, VCL was never ported over to C++. C++ Builder was like a subprogram of Delphi anyway. I downloaded Delphi 2005 trial, didn't see C++ Builder Projects included yet, when is C++ Builder going to be incorporated in Delphi, and how will we know? C++ Builder 6 was lacking in documentation and help files regarding Windows API. Looked around Delphi 2005, looks very encouraging.

It is encouraging to see what you (Borland) are doing. At least, it gives the impression that you acknowledge that you have users (developers) out there.So far, I like where you are going with Delphi. Keep it up.

Great!!!I think the better think you could did is put togheter C++ and Pascal. I started my programming carrer 20 years ago with Turbo Pascal!!! I changed to C++ (Boland C++ 4.0) because my customers were bankers and they need a ISO standard language in some procedures.Now you are doing just that: putting together the two better programming languages in the world: Borland Pascal and Borland C++. Listen: I'M TALKING ABOUT BORLAND LANGUAGES!!!! Any C++ is better than Borland C++ and any... well VC... is better than Borland Pascal.Congratulations guys!!!!
