Why can't I get XYLayout to work in JBuilder 7 Personal?

The suggested solution to this error message is to use the "null" layout as a work-around. However, working through the GridBag tutorial requires the XYLayout be present. Rather difficult to follow instructions in a tutorial that requires a feature that is not available. As a student it is frustrating to dutifully follow a tutorial, while struggling with the steep learning curve associated with JBuilder, only to find that something is missing. Do you think this experience will encourage me to use or recommend Borland products once I am out in the field?Jay Kloss
