      <description><![CDATA[This is a very interesting and relevant article.I especially like the part about "Supporting Multiple Backends" which was exactly my intention.I soon found out though, that making multiple servers for different backends serving the same client is not a trivial task.Not many db-drivers provide compatible field types for the same basic data types, so persistent fields are out of the question on server-side as well as on client side.Without persistent fields, providerflags and other necessary field properties have to be set in code.Am I the only one to face this problem, or am I getting it all wrong ?Søren sbc@mailme.dk]]></description>
