My solution was to "fdisk" the system, install NT 4.0 with only the basic functionality to be seen on the network (I have a peer-to-peer), install Windows 2000 Professional, and re-install all my applications on top of Windows 2000. Since that time, my system has been running nicely, including Delphi 5 Enterprise.
