Hi Gaurav,I dont know if there are some errors in your program, first error i think namespace stuff should be the first sentence. second error there is no function named getch() in cpp i think well i am not sure of it.Third error when you declare main as int you should always return a value else declare main as void.Try using iostream.h instead of iostream. And also i dont know if at all using namespace std is required in this program when we are programming with dos! Check out all these probably you will get your prog all rit..!

hi Craven, Just save the file appended with .c extension instead of .cpp then compile it as usual with .c extension there you go with a c program.

This is perhaps the worst way of doing it but it works. Store your program in the C:\Borland\BCC55\Bin\ directory and compile it from the command prompt using bcc32 programName.cpp. Make sure your command prompt shows C:\Borland\BCC55\Bin as the current directory.A better way to do this would be to write a batch file to include all the directory paths.
