Hidden Features of the Delphi 5 IDE

This is very nice. As web speeds got up and most of us go to ISDN or more likely cable modem access, I think the documentation could just be on the web. It could be edited easily and cheaply and always be up to date. Then undocumented features that work could be easily documented. My experience with documentation of our products is the sections I thought would cause everyone problems, didn't. And subjects that I thought were crystal clear and easy to understand genterated most of the support calls. We could with web documentation not have a deadline. Documentation could be constantly improved. I am an older person and often print out documentation. But the younger people who work with me, tend to think that behavior is weird. In five years we can do audio video instructional documentation on line. Companies will be able to educate and continuing educate their customers in to dependance.

Yes, you just need to be careful if you have lots of fonts on Win98 or Win95, as you'll run into resource issues.

The key..\Delphi\5.0\Extras\FontNamePropertyDisplayFontNamesDoes something nice: In the component inspector, the "Name" property of the "font" object will display the font name using the font itself...I don't know for the rest (though I have an idea about what "FPUExtras" means :) )
