Excellent! After reading your article, and getting sent off in the right direction, I managed to write myself a really useful D5 IDE addin in one evening. I now have a form that pops up each time I run my projects, and asks me what files I want to save and which I dont. I've wanted this facility for years, but borland has never provided it. Now I can provide it myself. Thanks Toby Allen.

The artical was a good introduction on how to create a BASIC addin with the OTA interfaces. However, it seems on examination of the toolsapi.pas, and the interfaces provided, there are a few things missing. For instance - how does a "wizard" get notified that a file has been added or removed from a project. Which notifier tells us that we have added (or removed) a new (or existing) project to (from) a project group.I'd like to see the project explorer expert (Program Files\Borland\Delphi5\Demos\Experts\prjexpl.*) try and use the new interfaces. Without a way to be notified a file has been added or removed, that expert would have to regenerate the entire project tree!Am I just missing something in the toolsapi.pas file? How about a list of just the interfaces that BorlandIDEServices implements? Does it implement all *services interfaces and nothing else?
